The receptionist when I called was one of the most friendly and professional I have ever had. Service was scheduled and AJ was prompt and courteous. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in a half hour; he even had a spare part in his van — he came prepared, none of this, “we’ll have to order this and it will take three weeks” run around I get with other service companies. AJ was fantastic. I will definitely use them again. And when it comes time to replace the water softener, you can bet I’ll buy from Peterson!

I had called them last year to repair my old, old softener. Since the price quoted then was less than half the cost of new, I had them repair. Mr. Peterson was so kind & honest about what he was doing. I didn’t feel like I was being sold something I didn’t need. So this year when the softener broke again, I figured it’s time for a new one. So I called & spoke with Michelle who gave me some options over the phone. I made my selection and scheduled installation on the first day available that I could be first in the morning. AJ did the removal & install of the system. He was so pleasant. I told him he was “famous” on the Angies List site.
We are back in business with soft water! I will definitely be calling them again although hopefully not for at least five years!!

Great! They diagnosed the problem by phone. They had replaced resin 4 years ago, and told me this must have been a bad batch. They just charged for the service call, and not for the resin.

I ordered the salt on November 18th and chose a delivery date of Monday, November 26th. On November 19th I received a call from Peterson Salt confirming the order and telling me the price per bag. I was also given the option of two different two-hour delivery windows. I returned their call and chose the delivery window of 8 am to 10am.
On November 26th, the Peterson Salt truck showed up at my house at 9:55 am. Two gentlemen quickly unloaded the 10 bags of salt, brought them into the house, down the stairs to the basement and stacked them nicely next to the softeners. They even filled the salt container so that it was full as well. Finally, when they came upstairs, they turned the lights in the basement off, even though I turned them on for them. All in all, a great experience – just as past experiences have been.
